How to register a Prepaid Meter |

To enable credit management for a prepaid meter, it must be registered on the Prepaid Meter Utility Management System.
Registration is required in order to enable allocation of the available credit limit and interaction via SMS.
Meter registration should be performed immediately when the meter is delivered. This will ensure that the meter control facility is active when the meter is installed.
If a meter is not registered, credit will not be available, the meter will simply power on with 5KW for testing purposes and then switch off once this amount is spent. Without a control acount and credit limit it will not be possible to request 20 digit credit tokens until this task is accomplished.
Meters are registered by completing the "Meter Registration" form. This form is accessible from the Green User Menu once logged into the PrePaidMeters.co.za.
