How do I buy electricity? |

Once the meter has been registered, the tenant simply sends in an SMS to 35446 (R3 Premium Rate) to obtain an electricity token.
The SMS must include the unique eleven digit meter number followed by * m * and the amount of electricity in kilowatt value.
The consumer will then receive a response SMS containing a 20 digit token number which can then be input into the meter.
Once the token has been set, the electricity will work and electricity consumption will be metered up to the killowatt value purchased.
* Please note that this number may change in the near future as we are moving to REGULAR rates. In other words getting tokens in South Africa will become cheaper.
Make sure if you purchased a meter that you read all our emails, such announcements are made in advance.
