PrepaidMeters.co.za has a quality assurance process that we follow with all external contractors that install for us meters as well as our in-house team of installers.
You have to sign the installation completion form which the installer will provide. You only do this once the meter is installed and working.
If the installer is an external contractor he is not paid out until the form is signed by you, hence your meter installation must be complete and form signed by you. The installer hence must make sure they installed correctly and that the meter is in working condition in order to receive payment.
Furthermore, all electricians that are registered to PrePaid Meters have to be Certified Electricians, with minimum single phase testing qualifications.
To further ensure that everything is working, when you register the meter if you are registering self-managed, make sure you asked upfront for a credit amount and you record this to the meter on the registration form. Our support staff will assist you with this if you need help.
This will enable you or the installer to send for a token via SMS and input the token before they leave the premises.
We also provide a Maintenance Plan to preserve your investment in meters for any future issues that you may face or need assistance with.
