PrepaidMeters.co.za supplies and vends to prepaid electricity meters on a national basis. Since any certified electrician can install our meters, we do not provide meter installation services of our own. Instead we rely on certified electricians to perform installation for our customers. 

Customers often request that we refer an electrician that can install their sub-meters.  To cater for these requests we have created an ESCROW service where you, as a certified electrician, can register and list your ability to assist.

To be listed you must be a certified electrician.

Following is a description of how the PrepaidMeters.co.za Electrician Service works. Please also take a minute to read through the Frequently Asked Questions for electricians .

REGISTER NOW

As an electrician you register to our website, providing your details and areas in which you are willing to install prepaid meters. Your information is listed on the website by each province and city.

1. When customers purchase a prepaid meter, they are automatically advised of our electricians service and directed here to select and purchase the installation of meters if they wish.
2. When a customer purchases an installation, we hold the installation cost in ESCROW for the installer/electrician.
3. We then contact the electrician by email, providing the customers contact details and installation address.
4. The electrician must then contact the customer to arrange a suitable date and time to perform the installation.
5. Once installation is complete, the electrician and customer completed an Installation Form.
6. The electrician then returns the form to us by fax.
7. We the pay the electrician.

It is as simple as that.
