The PPU23WLL is a SABS Approved Prepaid Water Meter Kit.
The PPU23WLL is a wall mounted assembly kit comprising:
- Pulse Water Meter
- Water Management Device (WMD)
- Keypad Meter Interface Unit (MIU)
- Wall Mounted Plastic Housing
The WMD is capable of controlling the flow of water to a domestic or small commercial consumers at full pressure.
The WMD is configured to operate in Prepayment mode. When operating in Prepayment Mode the MIU is the IEC compliant
Meter Information Unit for the WMD. The MIU is a keypad with
LCD display. The MIU communicates with the WMD using Radio Frequency and
enables the consumer to view current credit limit, meter status, battery
status and to input tokens.
When operating in Prepayment Mode the WMD shut-off valve will close to stop the flow of water once credit is exhausted.
